Expertly grown, harvested, processed, from a single farm in the Nariño region. The unique locale, with rich soil and temperature curves at the farm give the slower growing coffee a complex cup profile.

We find this special washed Colombia worth bringing into the Olilu lineup!

This is a washed process Gesha spp. coffee; fermented 20 hrs, then pulped and separated. A second fermentation step then takes 24 hours, before being fully washed. Drying takes approximately 16 days on raised beds, or mechanically for 4 days via a dryer.

We found this coffee to be excellent, not just on the cupping table using lab tools, but also using brewing equipment that you would have at home!

We used a Baratza Virtuoso Grind + AeroPress Coffee Maker, inverted for an immersion brew, and made a consistently impressive cup. Notes of caramels and dark brown sugar, slight intro of peach and cantaloupe, touch of strawberry-hibiscus fragrance.
